Born in Italy in 1983, Rosanna started her singing studies in 1998 in Bari (Italy) with Mariella
Carbonara, and soon started to attend many master classes and workshops with International
musicians, awarding several scholarships (Twice with Nuoro Jazz, in 2000/1, opening the Nuoro
international jazz festival 2002, and performing at the Time In Jazz Festival in Berchidda).
In 2001 she was a finalist at Premio Nazionale Massimo Urbani in Urbisaglia.
She then moved to Milan, where she studied with the renowned jazz singer Tiziana Ghiglioni,
completing a Diploma in Jazz singing in 2005 at “Accademia Internazionale della Musica”, and
performing across the city at such venues as the Blue Note Milan.
She has performed in various Festivals in Italy such as “Break in Jazz”, “Jazz in Metro”, “Foggia
jazz”, “Salt Art Festival”, “Percuotere la mente”, and recently in “London A Cappella Festival” with
Eclectic Voices, choir directed by Scott Stroman, featuring the Swingle Singers.
She has collaborated, among many others, with accomplished Italian musicians such us Franco
Cerri, Enrico Intra, Gianni Bedori, Mario Rosini, Rossano Sportiello, Fabrizio Bosso, Danilo Rea,
Massimo Moriconi.
Moreover, she had collaborations with Italian singer and songwriter Gino Paoli and in theatre with
the actors Giancarlo Giannini (Rene Mathis in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and
Inspector Renaldo Pazzi in Hannibal) e Silvia de Santis.
